Bryan Lin is a Managing Director and the CEO of Huatai Securities (USA), responsible for the overall strategy and management of the US business. Bryan has over two decades of experience in financial services industry in the U.S., ranging from private equity, investment banking, and financial regulation.
Prior to joining Huatai, Bryan spent 11 years as a senior private equity investment professional with The Carlyle Group based in New York. Bryan was a member of the Board of Directors at several Carlyle portfolio companies, and held board positions on Executive Committees, Audit Committees and Compensation Committees.
Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Bryan spent over 9 years as an investment banker with Citigroup based in New York where he focused on financial advisory and capital raising for a diverse set of clients.
Bryan started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he spent two years in the financial institutions supervision and regulation group.
Bryan received his MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and BS in Finance and Accounting from State University of New York at Binghamton. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Bryan is currently a member of the Board of Directors of AssetMark, a NYSE-listed wealth management solutions company based in California.
Sandra is Executive Director & Chief Compliance Officer for Huatai Securities (USA) with 20+ years of securities regulation experience in both 1st and 2nd Line of Defense capacities at Tier 1 global financial firms in the US.
Prior to joining Huatai US, Sandra held senior compliance and supervision positions at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse. Sandra started her career with NASD Regulation, Inc., the predecessor to FINRA, and continues to be involved in industry peer working groups.
Sandra received an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelors in Economics from Brandeis University.
Jason Eisenhauer is a Managing Director at Huatai Securities (USA) where he is responsible for leading the TMT Investment Banking and Equity Capital Markets practices.
Prior to joining Huatai, Jason spent over 15 years at Deutsche Bank. Most recently in their Equity Capital Markets group where he led the TMT and Consumer/Retail origination effort. He has worked on over 100 book-run equity offerings raising over $75 billion across Initial Public Offerings, pre-IPO funding rounds, follow-ons and convertibles. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank’s Equity Capital Markets group, Jason was an Associate in Deutsche Bank’s Media & Telecom Investment Banking group where he executed on financings and M&A transactions in the TV/radio broadcasting, pay TV, FSS, publishing, towers, and datacenter sectors.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank’s Media & Telecom Investment Banking group, Jason worked in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration where he focused on vehicle computer models for crash test certification.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and speaks English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish.
Patrick Springer is a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Securities at Huatai Securities (USA), based in New York. Patrick is responsible for developing an institutional product and service offering that spans research and advisory services, equity capital markets offerings, A-share access products including A-share blocks and private placements, and QFII-related services. Also in development are international brokerage solutions for Huatai China’s retail business and private equity shares trading services.
Patrick has over two decades of experience in US and Asian equity markets and creating deep, product and content-based franchises serving institutional investors in North America. Prior to joining Huatai Securities, Patrick worked at Morgan Stanley in New York for twenty-one years where he had multiple management roles including running the Asia-Pacific and Japan equity distribution platform for North America for over twelve years. Patrick also had roles co-managing the US equity distribution franchise and overseeing its equity research client strategy and corporate access business.
While at Morgan Stanley, Patrick led the distribution on more than 250 Chinese and pan-Asian equity deals to North American investors. Key transactions include the Alibaba IPO ($25B), the Japan Post triple IPO ($24B), & extensive China ADR offerings across the tech, fintech, healthcare and consumer verticals.
Patrick earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Finance, Marketing, and Multinational Management. He graduated from Rutgers College of Rutgers University in New Jersey with a BA in Asian Languages and Economics.
Amit Tyagi is a Managing Director on the Huatai Securities (USA) Team leading the Healthcare Investment Banking practice.
Prior to joining Huatai, Amit was an Executive Director at UBS in their Global Healthcare group for over 10 years where he built and led their Global Devices, Diagnostics and Life Sciences Tools franchise.
Prior to UBS, Amit worked as a Project Manager at Medline Industries, the largest privately held medical equipment manufacturer and supplier in the US.
Amit received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University.
Daniel Weisenfeld is a Managing Director on the Huatai Securities (USA) Team leading the Consumer and Retail Investment Banking practice.
Prior to joining Huatai Securities in 2018, Daniel spent 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he helped lead the apparel, restaurant and distribution Investment Banking practices.
Daniel received his MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University, his JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Josh Zucker is Managing Director and Head of Trading at Huatai Securities (USA). He is responsible for the build out of Huatai’s equity execution offering for China and Hong Kong to US investors and the US and China ADR offering to global investors.
Prior to joining Huatai, Josh spent 16 years at Deutsche Bank where he led US-based trading for Asia, Emerging Markets, and Canada. Josh started his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 6 years as a NASDAQ market maker and NYSE flow trader for the firm’s NY-based Asia business.
Kevin McGunnigle is an Executive Director at Huatai Securities (USA) with over 15 years of experience in US and Asian equity markets.
Prior to joining Huatai, Kevin led the North American equity sales team for China Renaissance (US), responsible for the distribution of advisory services and capital markets transactions to US and Canadian investors. While at China Renaissance, Kevin led the US distribution for many high profile public and private capital raises across “New Economy” sectors including internet, fintech, new retail, healthcare and tech.
Prior to that, Kevin started his career with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent 11 years advising US-based investors focused on US and Asian equities.
Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts from Providence College.
Philip Au is a Director on the Huatai Securities (USA) Team with experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Strategic Finance. Philip has over 10 years of experience in financial services with expertise in a variety of industries including, industrials, consumer, TMT, and healthcare
Prior to joining Huatai, Philip was a Vice President at Accordion Partners where he worked in partnership with private equity firms and management teams to improve the finance & operational functions of portfolio companies
Prior to Accordion Partners, Philip worked in Private Equity at Sun Capital Partners where he collaborated with the deal, operations, management teams, and 3rd party advisors to evaluate and execute investments, strategic initiatives, and financings
Prior to Sun Capital Partners, Philip worked in Deutsche Bank’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group, where he executed on a number of M&A transactions across industries. Philip also worked in Deutsche Bank’s Strategic Coverage Group, which managed a select portfolio of principal investments
Philip holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta, School of Business.
Ryan Bader is Director and Head of Operations and Equity Trader at Huatai Securities (USA). He is responsible for the build out of Huatai’s equity operational platform and trading for China and Hong Kong to US investors.
Prior to joining Huatai, Ryan managed $4bn at a thematic ETF Issuer and worked as an Equity Sales Trader at Société Générale where he was tasked with building and expanding their global capabilities. Ryan began his career at Deutsche Bank where he led operational teams for a number of years in Jacksonville, Florida prior to moving into an ETF Market Making role in New York City.
Wei Liu is a Director on the Institutional Sales team at Huatai Securities (USA) specialized in corporate access and equity sales. He has over a decade of experience in US and Asian equities, creating a channel between institutional investors and corporations in North America and Greater China region.
Prior to joining Huatai, Wei spent 10 years at the equity team of MUFG Securities Americas in New York, leading the corporate access business while covering institutional clients in both US and Great China. He also collaborated with capital markets team for equity distribution as well as creating bespoke investor events for corporate clients.
Prior to joining MUFG, Wei worked as an analyst at Pinnacle Associates, and as a client associate at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Prior to that, he was a business manager at China Tietong Telecommunications Corporation in Beijing.
Wei received his MPA in Public Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, and BA in English and International Trade from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Ziyue (Nina) Luo is an Analyst on the Institutional Sales desk at Huatai Securities (USA) where she ensures a seamless connection and fast communication between the Institutional Sales desk at Huatai Securities (USA), and the Huatai Securities China Mainland & HK teams.
Nina Graduated with Economics and Art History degrees from Mount Holyoke College, Amherst MA. Nina also finished an exchange study program at Columbia University.
Prior to graduating, Nina completed summer internships on the sales desk at CICC New York and China Merchant Securities.
